Children's Magazines:

      Codes & Conventions:

• Children's Magazines
• Use bright colours that pop out
• Big, bold fonts
• Most have pictures of animals
• Some have pictures of animated humans
• Zoomed in shot type
• They are all very busy with words, logos, pictures and some have items that come with the magazine

Sub-Genre's

• Rock
• Pop
• Heavy Metal
• Country
• Rap
• Jazz
• Blues
• Electronic

Baking:

1) They all use a bright background or masthead

2) They all show a main image of food

3) They use a big font but have it all in lowercase letters

4) They are all showing other recipes for different treats

5) I think that this target audience is probably young adults about 20 - 30

Masthead: The Title - Top of the magazine in the centre.

Dateline: The Date - The top right of the magazine in small print

Mani Image: The Picture - In the centre of the entire magazine, the biggest part.

Cover Lines: Sentences that cover whats in the magazine. The centre of the magazine

Main Cover Line: The sentence that covers the most of the most appealing feature of what is in the magazine. The centre on the left.

Bar Code / Price: How much it is - Next to the dateline.

Tagline / Strapline: One short phrase that describes the purpose, product or service of the company / magazine. found at the top in the centre of the magazine above the title.

Pull Quote: A quote from inside the magazine. Supposed to pull you in. On the bottom left of the cover.

Website Evaluation

LO: To refine and evaluate my website.

My Evaluation: 

For my product I was going to do a Horror Movie Review, however this was an incomplete project and therefore had to leave it as it is. On Wix.com, I changed the font and size of my title 'Chilling Reviews'. 

I also had to change the picture that was sitting behind the title to match the theme of horror, I would love to add the fact of don't mind the banana's. I was very pleased of my title part of this project, as it was the part that I did most of the work on. Unfortunately, I did not like the part of where I had to make my own blogs as that took so long trying to import my own photos and also to add a description and a title, I would like to next time improve what kind of website I will do or the logo for it.
