For this they have chosen to do a medium long shot was used for this poster as if they had used a mid shot it would've cut out his watch and hands in gloves and gun and his gun holster which is important to show us more connotations about this movie but also keeping in mind that if they had chosen to do a long shot then the facial expression would not have been that clear.
Clothing: His clothes could connote that he is on a mission and might be trying to blend in.
Props: His gun could connote that he is on a mission
Facial Expression: His facial expression is very serious and connotes that he is very serious about his mission and is not a jokey kind of guy.
Background: The background has his agent number 007 and is gold which connotes that he is successful as gold cold stand for money or could represent his high status.
Diegetic Sounds:
- Car Screeching
- Car Door Shutting
- Motorbike Engine
- Car Engine
- Explosions
- Gun Shots
The gun shots connote that it is an action as there are battles against people going on and there are quite a few bits in the trailer where there are gun shots. They also kept explosions in to add to the action and the drama that is going on. The car screeching tires also add that there could be a dramatic high speed car chase which means he might had to drift to lose or avoid the chase or it could be saying that he is going so fast that the tires screech when he tries to holt to a stop.
It does a fade to black transition during the trailer to show different times and towards the end of the trailer it did a fast bunch of clips then did one long clip. The reason for the quick bunch of clips was so the audience can see the high action parts of the movie but not so much that it reveals too much.

In the Tenet trailer they used dramatic noises. They have used this because they want us to know that this might be an action movie. Also the dramatic sound builds up suspense to a big shot that reveals something that isn't to revealing but makes us want to watch it.
Soundtrack:
- Eerie music at the beginning
- More shocking music in the shocking parts to show the dramatics of the movie
- Lyrics to the song in some parts that matches with the movie
- No music during question to show suspense
- Calm music when we see less scenes with action
Camerawork:
- Lots of close ups to show the characters feelings and emotions
- They have used a long shot to show the setting the characters were in
- They have used a low angle shot to show power
- They have used a medium long shot to show the props the actors have
- We can see close up shots to see the characters and there appearance
- They have used a wide angled shot so we can see what is happening in the background
In the Dune trailer, there is a large variety of soundtrack that is used effectively as the song that they chose has lyrics that they have found which best matches the setting for he movie. For example, across some parts of the trailer the director uses lyrics to show what best fits this type of movie genre. This connotes that this type of movie could most likely be a suspenseful/action genre movie as it shows music that also builds up the suspense. This makes the audience want to watch it more if they are more into sci-fi/action genre films.
In the Dune trailer, there is a lot of camerawork that is used effectively as they use different shot types. For example in one of the scenes where 2 people are running from a rising wall of such towards the end of the trailer the director has specifically used a wide angled shot to emphasise the characters actions (running) but also what is currently happening in the background. This type of shot connotes that this movie could either be filled with a bit of mystery or monsters. This could attract the eyes of the audience towards the CGI so that they can see what to expect from the editing.

DIRT
In the Super-Pets trailer, different types of camerawork was used effectively as they have specifically used a wide shot in the scene where Superman is going on a date and when she arrives the dog bites her ankle and launches her away, to her falling into the ocean. They have specifically used the wide angled shot to show the distance that was travelled throughout the city. They have used all kinds of shots in the rest of the trailer to show how much time has passed and to represent new scenes to us.
In the Super-Pets film trailer they have used all kinds of Mise-En-Scene for example in the picture above Superman is getting ready for a date so they have put him in front of a mirror for two reasons. Reason number one is so we can see what he is wearing and his accessories but also reason number two is so we can see the dogs reaction to him going out as he has a pouty kind of look on him. They also chose to add the cupboard to show some extra detail so we can get an idea of the surroundings the characters are in.
In the Super-Pets trailer they have used specific sounds for different parts of the trailer. Fo example for the first 48 seconds there is happy calm music playing in the background to emphasise that everything is ok. However, after the 42 seconds they have chosen to put dramatic sounds to show that this genre of the movie could be a mixture of comedy and action.
